We're Hiring an Administrative Officer (Part-Time)

Job Summary: Harry’s Nut Butter is looking for a part-time Administrative Officer. The role will be responsible for providing administrative support to carry out operations efficiently. This position will support the day-to-day functions of the business and assist in coordinating various tasks. 


What we do: Harry’s Nut Butter is an ever-expanding food manufacturing company classified as a high-potential startup. We develop, produce, manufacture, brand, market, distribute, deliver, and sell peanut butter products at markets, trade shows, via e-commerce and we ship worldwide.


Who We Are: We’re a small team, all of whom love good food, wine and coffee. HNB started out its life in a cafe and all the founding members had a different role in that cafe. We’re still mad about making excellent food and providing warm hospitality for all those who come to us. We’ve taken that intangible cafe energy and put it in a factory.


Who We’re Looking For: We’re looking for candidates with excellent communication and organisational skills.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone & email inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Write and distribute emails, client updates and forms.
  • Process orders & book shipments.
  • Liaise with suppliers and clients daily.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Maintain a filing system on the shared drive
  • Maintain contact lists.
  • Handle requests and queries from senior management.



  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant, office admin assistant or similar role.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, in particular).


Desirable Skills

  • Full driver's license


Working Hours: 16-25 hours per week (flexible schedule)


Other Details: This role may involve occasional flexibility in hours and responsibilities depending on the needs of HNB.

The Administrative Officer will report directly to the Managing Director and collaborate with other team members to support the overall objectives of the organisation.

This is a hybrid role, some days can be worked remote and other will need to be on site at Harry's Nut Butter HQ
